We are the Catalan team work, and today we went to the Hungary school.
First we went to the English Class and we played some games with different jobs, we had free time and we went to have breakfast.
In the school we did a Comenius Casino and it was fun. :)
In the COMENIUS CASINO there were a lot of activities like Memory games , Guess Who, Country flags memory game, Laberinth Gps, Hangman and other. We like it a lot, and we met new pupils. When we finished the games we were given some prizes.Joel's gameteam won the first prize, Montsant's the second prize, and Pau's the fourth one.Macia and Neus didn't have time to finish the Comenius Casino but they enjoy a lot too. We liked a lot he school, it is very big and there was an amazing atmosphere with the rest of pupils, they are very nice and kind people.
We will miss them.

20th May Budapest
The sun is still shining here in Budapest. Today the Comenius students and teachers looked at jobs in the district. The group split into three, the first Bird Watching, the second looking at the local Horticultural business and finally the third group visiting the local Bakery and the Fire Station. The students were able to look at these jobs and ask questions, such as "What skills are needed to do those jobs? What if any is the difference between this job in Hungary and the same job in your country?"
The students presented their findings to the whole group. The adults in the group especially enjoyed riding at high speed in the fire truck/engine!
The group were able to enjoy the company of the host families back at school for a BBQ lunch (Hungarian style) cooked by the families. Many, many thanks for this lovely afternoon of dancing, talking and eating.

Hi from home
We are glad to see that you are having fun. We are busy taking part in activities linked to the project. We are having an enterprise day linked to what we learnt in Finland. We are also going to complete our surveys.
However, most interesting is the news that you visited a Television studios. We are hoping to get some of our children to become a news team for the school from September. They will create fortnightly news reports about what is happening in school and around the school community. They will research what is going on, interview people, decide on the topics etc before then putting together the videos. It would be good to have everyone involved because then we can be critical viewers and reviewers. Look forward to hearing more. Kind regards Shaw Wood

Budapest 19th May
Hello from a very hot and sunny Budapest. Today we met up with new friends and old. We visited Chain Bridge, Hero's Square and Buda Castle. We have learnt many interesting facts about the city such as, the monument in Hero's Square is in memory of the 1000th anniversary of the conquest of Hungary. The Memory Stone in the middle of the square has this inscription on it 'HOSEINK EMLEKERE' do you know the translation?
We took a trip to the television studios while we were in the city, our students had the chance to look around the set and sit at the news desk, others enjoyed operating the cameras. Maybe a future in television for some of our students!

During four weeks a workshop on Economy is being held in our school by IEF- Financial Studies . This Catalan Private Foundation, the Institute for Financial Studies (IEF) has set up a project to train pupils on their last year of Compulsory Secondary Education to be financially competitive. Pupils will have the opportunity to get financial knowledge and preparation for their future career.
